In July 2019, Currie Sowards Aguila Architects was selected through a CCNA process and awarded five projects for the City of Lighthouse Point. These included a replacement Fire Station/EOC, Community Center, Public Works Administration building, renovation of the existing Public Works facility, and an addition to the Library. Completed in 2022, the Fire Station/EOC is a two-story, Category V facility totaling around 18,000 square feet, housing fire operations, administrative functions, and the city’s Emergency Operations Center.
