CSAA was honored to be selected by the City of Lighthouse for the design of five structures and a Capital Improvement Program valued at over $20 MM in construction. This commission consists of five separate projects including an 18,000 SF Fire Station and EOC facility, a new 8,000 SF Community Center at Dan Witt Park, a new 3,500 SF Public Works Administration building, remodeling of the existing Public Works building, and an addition to the existing library facility.

The new Fire Station/EOC facility is envisioned to serve as a Gateway to the City’s entrance from Sample Road. The complex will include a two-story category V structure with the first-floor housing administrative offices, crews’ quarters, dining and dayroom areas, meeting spaces, and a three-bay apparatus area in a total area of 12,892 square feet. The second floor will include multi-purpose meeting spaces to be used as the city’s Emergency Operations Center, smaller break-out spaces, a warming kitchen, restrooms, and mechanical spaces in around 5,200 square feet. The total construction budget is around $7,200,000.00 and will be delivered through CM at Risk.
