RIVIERA BEACH FIRE STATION 87

The Design-Build team of Currie Sowards Aguila Architects and Kaufman Lynn Construction is starting construction for the City of Riviera Beach’s second Fire Rescue Station.  Fire Rescue Station 87 will be home to the City’s Emergency Operation Center as a part of the Fire Rescue operations.  The $17.5 MM project will be replacing the existing station at the City Hall site and is approximately 29,000 s.f.  The two-story building will have 4 drive-thru apparatus bays with a dedicated 9,500 s.f. EOC on the second floor.  Similar to Station 88, this station will be state of the art with circadian rhythm lighting and air quality and cross contaminated controlled zones for protection of personnel.
