This coastal community, once a haven for artists and cartoonists, lacked affordable creative space as it grew. A cultural plan led to an artist co-op for classes, exhibits, and youth programs. Repurposing a former “cube” warehouse, the design features 20 studios, a large multi-use space, and a gallery. Its cubic theme is expressed through form and façade. The project revitalizes a blighted rail-adjacent site, supporting local artists and cultural tourism.
