About Boca Raton Fire Rescue GOB

The firm has a 40-year relationship with the City of Boca Raton, including 25 years with its fire rescue department. From 2000 to 2010, Currie Sowards Aguila Architects designed seven fire stations, administrative offices, and an apparatus facility with a training tower. The firm also supported a General Obligation Bond effort, completing studies and concepts for eight sites. Voters approved the bond, leading to full designs over a decade, including Station 6, completed in 2021.
