PALM BEACH STATE COLLEGE 1926
This building served as the State of Florida’s first junior college. Built in 1926, the historic preservation project encompassed the transformation of a classroom building to exhibit space, lecture hall and new classrooms. The architectural program included grant development, funding strategy assistance, evaluation of the structure’s integrity, adaptive re-use design and preservation programming, architectural/engineering design and development of construction documents and construction administration. In 1998, the project received an Award for Excellence from the Palm Beach Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
